We worship at the Southdown Methodist Church Centre,
The Hollow, Southdown, Bath, BA2 1NJ.
Our Main Service is on Sunday at 10.30am.
Horizon Methodist Church has been a church on the move. We sold our old premises at Oldfield Park and used the money raised to refurbish Southdown Methodist Centre. We thank our friends at St Joseph’s Catholic Church who have provided us with a home during that time.
On Sunday 5th February 2012 we held our first service in the new Worship Area at the Southdown Methodist Church Centre and will now be holding regular services there every Sunday at 10.30am.
We also meet on Sunday evenings (except 1st Sunday of each month) at 6.30pm. The 3rd Sunday of each month will be a Café Church style service.
On the 1st Sunday each month we have Messy Church from 4pm – 6pm.
It is the opportunity for people of all ages to come together to experience the love of Jesus Christ through having fun, being creative, sharing a meal together and worshipping God, in song, through teaching and stories from the bible, and in prayer.
On the 3rd Sunday each month we have Café Church at 6.30pm.
Café Church, is an opportunity to worship informally and talk gently about our faith in an informal atmosphere, while sharing a meal of sandwiches, crisps, tea and cakes together.
We have fifty members and other regular attendees.
We look forward to working with the Whiteway & Southdown Church & Community Partnership and with the other churches in the area.

Horizon Methodist Church is called to walk together with the people of the South West Triangle of Bath, offering worship and prayer to the God who loves all people, to be an open community welcoming all, to offer practical care, to share our faith in Christ and to support all this in prayer.
